Announcing the 2010 COSUGI Conference, in Lake Buena Vista, Florida.
Connect with your fellow SirsiDynix users, Wednesday, March 3rd - Friday, March 5th at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.
The long-standing traditions of excellence and value expected by user group members of their annual conference will be carried forward into this first COSUGI conference. The 2010 conference promises to offer unique opportunities for seeing innovative programs and learning about current & future technologies that are being implemented and used to meet the demands of library and information services worldwide.
Program sessions have something to offer all attendees regardless of the Integrated Library System (ILS) product they license. Many of the conference sessions will feature Symphony, Horizon, and Unicorn applications (including add-on solutions) with some presentations focusing on user migration experiences from Horizon to Symphony. As always, there will be plenty of non-ILS specific programs on a wide scope of topics which will appeal to solution-seeking professionals and executives.
In addition to the regular conference venue, three pre-conference events have been scheduled for Tuesday, March 2nd from 1-5 p.m. These user presented pre-conference events are titled:
- Migrating from Horizon to Symphony
- Customizing e-Library
- Using Web Reporter W/Narrowcast:
Don’t miss your chance to connect and network with your colleagues and the many on-site SirsiDynix representatives who will be in attendance during meals, programs sessions, no-conflict breaks, and after-hours activities/events. SirsiDynix, once again, is generously sponsoring the COSUGI Reception and promises an entertaining and memorable evening for everyone.
Early registration rates are offered through January 15, 2010. Registration access and additional information about the conference, pre-conference, and conference updates can be found on the COSUGI website www.COSUGI.org.
We look forward to seeing you in Lake Buena Vista, Florida!
Sincerely yours,
